New Special Education Data Manager Training

Full Day Session: 9:00 am – 1:15 pm

The training is intended to cover the responsibilities of OSEP Data Managers and best practices to support the district special ed staff and the use of CT-SEDS. This session is open to Special Education Data Managers with two or fewer years of experience in Connecticut who work in a local/regional board of education (OSEP/NEXUS School District). OSEP Directors of Special Education are always welcome to attend any training for data managers.

Topics covered in the New Special Ed Data Manager training:

  • Using your CT-SEDS Everyday reports efficiently to monitor compliance and review data trends at the school and district level.
  • Daily tasks that should be completed to ensure understanding of student, school and district status.
  • Supporting data cleaning for October 1, 2024, Child Count.
  • Solutions, problem-solving and best practices in CT-SEDS management
